Happy Birthday to me!

I have been dying to make these two cakes - one completely chocolate with a TON of buttercream frosting and the other a yellow cake covered in chocolate ganache. (I thank Bakerella for the inspiration - she is my hero). On everyone else's birthday I make a cake that they want, so this was the perfect opportunity to make the cake I wanted - and of course two of them. Hey it was my birthday and I was doing the work anyways. :)

I have been dying to go to San Diego's Sea World for as long as I can remember. It was just as awesome as I thought it was going to be. The best part was that I got to experience it with my V, J and S.
