and the outcome ...

A display of cupcakes for S's first birthday party. I must say I was very proud of it but disappointed I didn't get a good picture of it. There were chocolate mousse, red velvet, yellow cake, chocolate and oreo truffle cupcake pops. All decorated a little different. The red velvet had cream cheese frosting, everything else either had vanilla candy melt, chocolate ganache or buttercream frosting. And of course I tucked away plain-no-frosting cupcakes for J.

I found a close up of the oreo truffle cupcake pops

My spot

Nothing interesting today, so it will be about me. This is where I have been spending most of my late evenings through early mornings.

SNOW DAY ... again.

All schools are closed and I wasn't able to go into work since V was home and the roads were a mess. It was a pajama-wearing kind of a day.

Peek-a-boo and an early birthday

S loves playing peek-a-boo and screaming out "are you?" (her second word. 'Light' was her first).

"S where are you?"

"There you are"

"Where are you?"

Because I have to go into work tomorrow and it is S's real birthday, I decided that as a family we should celebrate S's birthday today. She had no clue how to blow the candle but she new exactly what to do once the candle was out and the cupcake was in her hands. I can't believe my baby will be one tomorrow.

Say "cheese"

Nothing special today since I had to go into work. I got home and remembered I needed a picture. Here is S chasing me.

An uneventful Sunday

We are painting the office upstairs so we camped out last night in the family room to avoid the fumes.

Then off to BJs - S is always in tow. Enjoying her Cheerios in the shopping cart.

And I just thought it was funny that my husband made J's hair into a mohawk.

This is how she "reads" a magazine

How can you be mad for the mess?:

Do you hear that?

Why you can hear a pin drop in my house at the moment.

No words necessary

V tormenting S

Knowing that I can't keep S still in the highchair, I tell V to entertain her while I get her dinner ready. Well, my definition of 'entertaining' is far different than V's definition. V decides to run around the highchair while S tries to touch him and trying to get out - he continues to do this even when I tell him to just stand in the front and sing to her. Not happening. Instead of getting frustrated I just laugh it off since she is squealing and having a good time anyways.

Ride along with me

I have been on a mission to find this Little Tikes push and ride toy for months now. The boys loved and I never thought I would miss it when I sold it at a yard sale a couple years back. Thankfully I was able to find it on Amazon. My little girl loves it just as much as the boys did - it is definitely a classic toy that is enjoyed by girls or boys.

Can you tell each of my kids loved it?

Better late than never

I shamelessly stole this idea from another blogger that I happen to find from someone's else blog that I follow religiously. I thought it was a great idea to capture one moment from each day that just seems to pass us by so quickly. Not only do I have three kids that seem to grow like weeds but I always find myself saying - 'where did the time go?' and 'I wish I can put *insert moment here* in a bottle so I never forget'. What a perfect way to remember each day of the year.

Even though it is already the 20th day of the year I decide to start anyways, better late than never.

Enjoy.
